The Malvern Hills offer many attractions. Firstly their beauty, nothing could be nicer than the prospect of a day spent walking on the hills, where Edward Elgar reputedly found his inspiration for the Enigma Variations. His birth place in Lower Broadheath houses a fascinating display of all things ‘Elgar’. Nigel Kennedy also lives in the Malvern Hills area and has been known on occasion to perform locally. Morgan Sports cars are still handmade locally, and offer tours of there factory which can be booked in advance. Malvern is also renowned for its spa water. Even today there are still outlets of fresh spring water that can be collected straight from the hills.
Malvern theatres offer the latest stage and film plays and also have a restaurant and coffee bar.
Malvern is at the heart of three Cathedral cities. Worcester, also home to the Royal Worcester Museum, Gloucester and Hereford home of the Mappa Mundi and the chained link library. There is also a large leisure complex including swimming pool and gym.
